Winners of Our Facebook 1000 ‘Likes’ Milestone Freebie Giveaway

Our Facebook 1000′Likes’ Milestone Freebie Giveaway has ended.

Thank you so much to all those who participated and Congratulations to all those who won in all the 5 Giveaway challenges. This post is a recap of what happened on iPad Malaysia Lab’s Facebook Page for each of the 5 challenges:

Freebie Giveaway #1

Participants were asked to type out a short riddle and post it as a “comment” on our Facebook Page on the correct Facebook post. The 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th person to post the ‘correct’ entry after we flagged off on Facebook each won a Crossbones Decal for their iPad.

Freebie Giveaway #2

We then asked participants to do some running around for the next challenge. Participants were asked to find FIVE items and take a photo of all the items together. The 1st and 5th complete photo entries to reach us each received a Zinio $10 Gift Card.

Freebie Giveaway #3

Participants came out in full force for this giveaway with over 200 entries received. We wanted to see how witty the iPad Malaysia Labs community was and asked them to come up with their most creative 3 word string using the letters “iML”. What we thought was the best 5 entries each won a Crossbones Decal for their iPad.

Freebie Giveaway #4

Similar to Giveaway #1, participants were asked to type out a phrase and post it as a “comment” on our Facebook Page on the correct Facebook post.

This time we provided a tongue twister and wanted the fastest 1st, 2nd, and 3rd entries that would each win a Kobo $10 Gift Card.

Freebie Giveaway #5

The last of the giveaways was the most awaited one as we wanted to give away an exclusive handmade herringbone wool iPad case to 1 Lucky Winner.

And luck was indeed the deciding factor here as the winner was chosen via a lucky draw. However in order to qualify for the lucky draw, all we wanted was for iPad users to show off their device with the iML logo displayed. Any photo submission counted but our community didn’t hold back and the result was a myriad of creatively taken shots (which you can see in our Giveaway Album at the iML Facebook Page).

We were so impressed that we decided to give out a Bonus Gift (choice of iPad apps up to $10 value) to the entry we thought was the most creative.
