It’s nearly been a month since iPad Malaysia Labs first launched to give you the best source of iPad news, event coverage, tutorials, guides, and more catering specifically for iPad users in Malaysia. From the start we wanted some elements of this site to be a friendly local community resource where everyone is free to gain, share and contribute knowledge regardless of whether you just recently bought the iPad 2 as your first Apple gadget or if you’re a raving mad Apple fanboy.
If you’ve followed closely with us or at least managed to explore our site thoroughly, you would have noticed that the community aspect is alive and well in the form of our Facebook Page.
We had a shot when it hit 1000 exactly but we seem to have deleted it 
We recently passed the 1000 ‘Likes’ Milestone and we thought it’d be cool to give out some freebies. Just because you’re awesome.

The FREEBIES
Let’s get to the good stuff. The freebies are not like free iPads or anything of the sort for obvious financial constraints as this will be coming out of our own pockets. No corporate sponsors ‘yet’ (hint hint to any big shots looking at this).
However, we’ve tried to set it up so that there can be more winners. That means smaller but more prizes and yes that also means we’ve chosen freebies that both users of iPad 1 & 2 can enjoy. Before we explain the details on how you can get a freebie, let’s have a look at the loot:

I Want! How to Get a Freebie?
It’s simple. This isn’t a contest. This is a giveaway. We will make you jump through some hoops though. You know, because you’re cool. 
- Step 1: You’ll want to ‘Like’ the Facebook Page as it is the only place where we’ll be posting giveaway updates.
- Step 2: Make sure you check the Facebook Page every few hours everyday over the course of this week (23-29 May). We’ll give lots of notices in the hours leading to an actual giveaway to help you prepare though so there’s no need to glue yourself to the monitor/screen. Do enjoy the daily updates on iPad news, apps, etc that we post on Facebook whenever you check in and enjoy the conversations that go on in there.
- Step 3: Fulfill the giveaway tasks we give you (tasks will be revealed as the individual giveaway happens) and hopefully get a FREEBIE!
Simple as 1-2-3. Just remember to play nice.
Three Rules: Location, Location, Location
We don’t care if you’re brown, black, white, green or from what planet you came from but you are only entitled to this giveaway if you live in Malaysia. This is simply because we will not ship the freebies to any addresses outside of the country and well it makes sense given the name of this website.
Some Other Things
In order to protect you and us from any disappointments, we must put forth a disclaimer that this giveaway is purely for entertainment purposes. The freebies are not given away immediately especially for the decals and cover case. If you manage to snag a freebie, you will need to allow some time for international delivery for the items to get to us first (shipping to us as we speak) before we can send it to you. If there is any unfortunate situation where we are not able to give you a particular freebie, you will have to accept a replacement which we will decide on accordingly. To give everyone a fair chance, a person can only get one freebie throughout the course of this giveaway; subsequent entries will automatically be disqualified. We also have the full right to change any details of this giveaway at any point in time as we see fit.
